Subject: Corkscrews
Message: Can anyone help me? I have in the past let my nails grow to 3 inches or more...after having children they stayed trimmed, but I have decided to let them grow again. They are now 1 1/2 inches long(middle finger, ring finger and small finger) and 3/4 inch long on my index finger & thumb. The problem is, the 3 longest have begun to corkscrew all in the same direction. Is there anything out there to straighten them out again? When I get them wet they are shaped the way I want, as soon as they dry they go right back to the twist. Help! I don't want to cut them, but I'm afraid they will continue to spiral if they get any longer.

Message: After having children your hormone and chemical balance changed, as did your hips and breasts. Now your nails will always "corkscrew" after a certain length, that's nature.

Message: nails are not meant to be that long. when they start cork screwing around it is WAY past time to trim them down. think about all the crud that gets caught underneath. it's disgusting.
