Subject: extra layer of thick enamel on pinky toes
Message: My three year old daughter has this extra nail enamel on the side of her little pinky toenails. Her toenails tend to curve into her skin if i dont clip them regularly enough. But when they do that the thick enamel cannot be clipped. It seems like it has grown into her skin. What can i do? i'd appreciate any input you have for me. Thankyou.

Message: heya,
i think what your talking about is an ingrown toenail.
you can have them removed and treated at the hospital or docters.otherwise it could get quite painful.
good luck!

Message: Lucia,
That sounds a bit like my "pinky" toes. It's like tough, thick, hide, Right? I use my Growth Formula on that to give it a much needed moisture kick. If you have some lanolin or vitamin e oil, rub it into the nails and "cuticles" with grand regularity....It will help to soften that tissue and make it much more pliable so your task of clipping the nails will become less stressful.
Hope this will work...Let me know.
