Subject: advise
Message: i have about everything i need to do my own nails like the primer, line out, acrylic liquid, powder, nails and files. but when i apply the nails within 2 days i can see them starting to lift a little bit. what is the best way to apply the nail and acrylic without that happening so soon. dose a nail drill prevent most of that or do i need a smaller brush. i use a half inch one..thanks carmen

Message: Carmen,
Find an expirienced mentor. Someone that does a great set of nails with lasting power. Ask this person if you can sit and watch her do nails. Ask her questions and together find your problem area. Most techs I know would be happy to let you sit in.

Message: Usually the problem is that you are not blending the sides enough, this will cause the sides to lift.

Message: jojustjo,
This site is for NATURAL NAILS! We do not promote the use of artificial nails here.
What you are doing wrong is using fake nails! Just that simple.

Message: Instead of spending all that time and money on fake nails, why not work on conditioning and caring for your real natural nails? Then you won't have to worry about those issues and you won't be damaging your nails and you will have healthy natural beautiful nails.
