 Subject: Stubby thumb nails

I have been dating a girl for a few week and she has been covering up her thumb nails with bandaids.
She showed me that both her thumbs nails are stubby, about 1/4" long. She said they look real stupid and not like everyone elses thumbnails. She has always had this.
What is this condition?

I have stubby thumb nails as well. I just posted something here and I'm waiting for a reply about a rumor I've heard about thumbs like this. I don't think its a condition, first of all, because I'm about as normal as you can get, but I have heard a rumor that it means you will have bad heart problems when you're older. Is this true?

i thought i was the only one wid stubby thumb nails i hate them i feel so abnormal wats rong wid me!!! i tink i will ave plastic surgery dun on em' !!!!! i always hide em' i feel like every1 iz lookin at them and tinkin wat a weird person or summink like dat i dunno!!!!
