Message: No, you`re having an allergic reaction to the nails, the best thing you can do is to remove them and choose another type of nail after the swelling has gone down.

Message: You should have the fiberglass removed to start a healing process. I know fiberglass is not good for the body however it is inserted but this may not be the problem. Every part of our body needs to be able to breathe; if you've been having artificial nails put on for 14(+/-)yrs, your nailbed could be suffocating. After removal of artificial nail, see a Doctor about antibiotic if there is/willbe infection and possibly a longterm solution if it is an allergic reaction. Personally; I think that short, well cared for nails is just as beautiful as long natural nails. Either is much prettier than artificial, & especially unhealthy artificial nails. If you must wear artificial nails, ask doc about getting silk nails after your fingers heal entirely. Cuticle cream is always a bonus weather your nails are natural or artificial.
