Message: I've had that happen to me before. If you don't have real sensitive skin, try soaking your finger in some bleach. Yes, regular laundry bleach- diluted with water, of course. It may take a few days, but it'll get whiter. I soaked mine a few times a day for about 30-45 seconds. And if it is a fungus, the bleach will kill it! Good luck.

Message: if you smoke cigarettes, tar and nicotine will stain your nails a yellowish color. Also, eating cheetos will turn them orangy

Message: Hello,
like rose I woke up last week with all my nails full of fungus! It just happened overnight.
i cannot tolerate the drugs and personally lamisil for 48 weeks sounds scary especially when they say "maybe it will work" and liver toxicity does not sound fun. So I tried teatree oil, oil of oregano topped with DMSO to dry it into the nail bed. In one week they are better, but soft and now this yellow cottage cheese comes out of the nails when wet.
Any suggestions are really needed as I support my daughteer and myself with my hands.

Message: Greetings:
Bleach will in fact destroy whatever is living in and on your skin and nails. But at what cost? Bleach is highly toxic, even diluted. It should never be used directly on any part of your body. It sounds like you have a "yeast infection" under your nails. The infection is similar to a vaginal yeast infection, whereas an overabundance of bacteria has colonized in a certain area. My suggestion is that you visit your physician as soon as possible. There are simple and quick medications that will kill the bacteria. In the meantime, try soaking your nails in white vinegar 2x daily. The acid in the vinegar will help to neutralize the bacteria without harming your system. Good Luck, and keep me posted.
