Subject: Acrylic Nail Removal
Message: I've had my acrylic overlay on for 5 months. I get a new set about 2 and half months ago and I want to get them taken off. It's time for a change. How much does it usually cost to get them taken off? Can you do it yourself? What does it involve? Please someone explain. Thanks!

Message: You can take them off by soaking them in pure acetone for about 20 minutes. Do not pull them off and always rehydrate your fingers and nails afterwards.

Message: Below is the way I take my nails off without having to buff at all:
My secret to taking off acrylics FAST:
1. Put Hot Water into a bowl (secret is HOT Water)
2. Put Acetone Nail Polish Remover in another smaller bowl.
3. I put the smaller bowl over into the bowl with hot water and let my nails sink completely in Acetone for 15 minutes to 30 minutes and I am done.
I tried Non-Acetone remover, but they don't work to remove nails.

Message: or, there is a lovely product found on this site, Natural Nails Growth Formula, that will restore health, shine, flexibility and re-newed growth that the acrylics stole from them.
