Has anyone heard of using Tea Tree Oil to help grow your nails? I have bitten my nails forever and I'm trying to quit...again! I heard that Tea Tree Oil is great with healing any infections and sores that you might have on your fingers. Any comments about this?

I do know for a fact that tea tree oil is good for healing sores and infections. I'm using a range of products that have tea tree oil in them and i'm really happy with them.

My fella has a nail infection, which he has had for sometime. He has tried all kinds of treatments, including prescriptions from his Gp. Since using teatree oil directly, neat onto his nail and under his free edge, they have vastly improved. He still has the fungul infection, but his nails are now reasonably presentable.

Tea Tree Oil is a natural fungicide, so it kills bacteria naturally. If you use the pure Melaleuca Oil (Tea Tree Oil) it will work wonders for any infection of the nail or skin. It's also great for eczema.
I use Tea Tree oil for a lot of things... it's awesome:)

Try a health food store. It's considered to be a natural alternative medicine so you'll most likely find it in those kind of shops. You might also find it in pharmacies and some cosmetic stores.
