Hi-I am new to this board, and this is my first post.
I am wondering what to do while the damamged nail bed grows out, before I can even *start* to think about growing them. But I am thinking a pearly color would look better then just these ugly damaged beds.
Someone at MUA suggested Nail Envy. Is there a cheaper Sally's Beauty Supply version of this?
My own nails are thin, and curve under, and bend a funny way on their own, when grown very long. So acrylics are great for me. I don't even wear them very long. But I am saving for a competition at the end of July, so they have to go.

I would think you should get some cuticle oil and massage that in and into your nail bed and just keep them hydrated and conditioned. Eventually they should start to grow out. I used nail envy i know its expensive but it really does the job for me. My nail used to peel and everything now i hae long nails and they are strong. Its amazing what it has done.
