Subject: Splitting
Message: The middle fingernail of my right hand has been splitting for about 6 months now. Each time it grows some, it splits again. There is a visible white line running from the cuticle to the tip. If I don't cut the new growth, the split just continues further down the nail. Now I have noticed a similiar white line on my index finger, and it split two days ago. My doctor has no answer for me other than to cut it down and when the new growth comes in, it should be fine. Well, after six months, and now another nail...? I sure hope you can help me find a cure or hook me up with products to help my splits.

Message: I have the same problem with my index finger and don't know why. My nail has been doing this for over a year now. Nothing I do helps. I have not gone to the doctor yet but am planning to soon. Let me know what you figure out.

Message: I have the same problem with my middle finger on my left hand. I believe it started when I got a sliver under the nail. That was at least 6 to 7 years ago and I have tried a lot of home remidies and nothihng seems to work. Let me know if you find anything that works. Thanks Sheri
