Does milk make nails grow real strong and long? Because I drink tons of milk but I am wondering if it does anything for my nails? And what about lotion? I use a hand lotion is it good for my nails also? What about body lotion? And if I break open a Vit. E capsul and put it on my nails before bed does it make them healthy and strong and long also? Thank you.

I also heard "...eat plenty of gelatin" and prenatal vitamins help build stong nails... Just took my acrylics off after 10 years... my nails are paper thin. I ordered some of the cream off this site and I started taking prenatal vitamins... hopefully it helps.

Find a lotion with Dimethicone in it.
Aveno makes one, even a Walgreens brand has it. Stay away from ANY lotion with mineral oil in it--even baby oil!
Mineral Oil coats the skin and nails and doesn't soak in at all. PLUS it keeps the good things your nails need from absorbing.
Milk doesn't really help most people, gelatin either... some it does and some it doesn't.
Vitamin E is GREAT to use...but remember, your good sturdy nails will only last as long as you use what ever regimne you are doing. Once you stop doing it, your nails will go back to the way they were.

I like milk all over my nails it makes them feel good and grow, i like using windex, it works the best for nails.
