Subject: poor results with NGF
Message: I have been using NGF for months now and I am not getting the results I hoped for. My nails are still peeling and flaking. I will say nails are looking pinker and cuticles are ok, but overall I am disappointed with it. How long does it take to get improvements? I take Biotin 2500 mg daily, plus lots of other supplements, plus a great diet and lots of water, so where am I going wrong?

Message: don't know what to tell you ricky. it doesn't work for everyone, all the time. my best guess would be genetics. we all have our mother's and grandmother's nail genes, whether we like it or not! i know that doesn't help, but, without knowing what your hands and nails go through everyday it's tough to "nail down" one reason why. i too, took the biotin and saw absolutely nothing from it. i say, take a break from the NGF for a month, and see if you notice a difference, towards the negative, in the condition of your cuticles and the hydration of your nail bed. maybe someone else will jump in with some better advice.

Message: Hi Ricky,
For some, it takes much longer for the product to provide the results that are seen almost immediately by others. Like Cheryl says, "my best guess would be genetics."
That said, tell us a bit about your average work day, and what do you do with your down time? Are you a nurse or Doctor? Do you work in a veterenary hospital? Are you a secretary? Stockbroker? Ticket agent? Just a bit of background might help us figure out the componants of just what and why????? Do you, or did you use the product faithfully, every day, twice daily, for the full first 30 days? Are you still faithfully applying the product at least once daily? Was there more improvement with using the product twice daily? Give me all the "gory details" of your daily life? lol

Message: Ricky, I don't know if I would call my results "poor", but I don't think in the beginning I had the results so fast that most rave about on this forum. I have been using NGF just over a year now. I did it just like the instructions recommend - twice a day for the first 30 days. Like you, I take a biotin supplement, so my nails were already in pretty good shape to begin with. I wanted the NGF for my cuticles. I took a while and for a time I thought my nails/cuticles were in worse shape than when I started. But then, the transformation started to take shape. My nails and cuticles now are gorgeous. I still take my biotin and I am still using my NGF. The combination is a success for me. I don't use it every day, but my cuticles definately tell me when it's time for a "treatment". I try to use it at least twice a week. Finish up that jar and then decide. Good Luck, I don't think you will be disappointed.
