 Subject: Sliver of nail growing from under nailMessage: I have a sliver of nail growing up from the middle of my thumb nail. I thought it was an ingrown nail but my dermatogolist says no. She said its probably a wart....well I researched wart under nail and that's definitely not what I have. When I press down on the nail bed I can see a reddish line going halfway down and there's a little dark spot right at the tip of the nail bed, which seems to be where this nail has pushed up. Has anyone else ever had this problem and if so how did you get rid of it. |

It's like my finger is trying to grow another nail, weird? same with my middle toe on both my feet. I usually take a tweezer and just pull the dam thing out. I think is just a genetic flaw of some sort. Good Luck. |
