Subject: How is Wu
Message: Barbara,
I am writing to ask how Wu is doing??? I hope he is much better, and that the treatments are working.
I haven't posted in a few days, and a lot has happened and is happening here. 2 weeks ago my nephew's wife (who I consider my niece), gave birth to a baby girl, 6 weeks premature by c-section. Both are doing well, thank God, but the baby is still in the hospital and will be for some time. She was 18 inches long and weighed 4 pound 8 ounces, but with a premie they have to watch so much stuff, she was on a ventilator, and had to be put under those lights for jaundice, but she has passed all of her tests, and she is healthy. However, they won't let her home for maybe 3 to 5 more weeks, I guess.
Last weekend I spent all weekend cooking for them so they would have food and they wouldn't have to worry about thinking of making dinner, or eating fast food or out in a restaurant everyday, and there would be a choice for them to pop in the microwave.
Today I get my new Puppy, Remy's biological sibling, who was born in August. I will have pictures and I will make them available to you all. This one is beige/white, and another male. This will be the last litter for the Mom and Dad, and Remy is such a delight, I thought I would like a second one.
Moi, did you have a new grandson?? I read some of the posts, and I'm not sure or is this the grandson and he's just bigger now.
Love to all,
Karen

Message: OH WOW! That is soooooo great about the baby. She will do just fine.. My youngest son, Joseph, was 8 weeks premature, and even 33 years ago there were so many leaps with medicnes that there really was a fast paced *recovery* (for lack of a better word) and my Joey is now my biggest. He was so little and frail, but you would never know his beginning to look at him now! He is about 6 feet tall, weighs 210, and is buff!
He wrestled in highschool and college and went on to the jr olympics, so *them* premies recover nicely!
Wu is doing fairly well, all things considered. He get tired really quickly and we have to watch the cough, it could mean pneumonia setting in. We took him back to the doctor Thursday because of some sort of outbreak on his little face, got him some kind of antibiotic and cream and he is improving.
He will get the last shot(s) on the 18th of October. Then we will test him a month later to see if they are gone..... He is so pitiful.... He just doesn't understand why he cant go out with his girls and play!
That is great about the other pup. I'll bet Remy has a ball! I'll be looking for those photos.
