 Subject: Hi to old friends...Message: Barbara, Droppin by to say hey to ya'll. Thanks for the package too Barb, your notes are always so cute! ;o) Sorry that I haven't posted in a long while, been busy, in the process of moving now, and starting a new job this month, so it's crazy. I wanted to get a new supply of NGF so that with all this cardboard box crap :(, I don't tear up my nails and cuticles in the process. :o) Happy for the new job and new start, but Lord do I hate packing! Big hugs to all the ladies, Barb, Moi, Sheltie, Denise, Debodel, Jill, Karen, Scarlett, Cheryl and anyone else from the Q's bb that I didn't mention. You guys have me hooked on this product, and Barb has a customer for life. Hope everyone has had a fabulous summer. Isn't it amazing how fast this year is flying by? In fact, we close on our house on 9/25. Since hubby and I got custody of 2 of our grandchildren, apartment living just ain't cuttin' it. So, we bought a house and are moving........YUK!! I heard on WSB a couple of days ago about the fact that the Delta Pilots Pension is *KAPUT*! I can't imagine how angry that would make me. Putting all your trust in someone elses hands is NOT the way to go! People use to be good, with a bad seed scattered about..... I am afraid that the coffee is brewed...NOT BREWING! People have no natural affection, and man has ruled man to his injury, indeed. Anywho, let me know where you're gonna be! Both of you! |

Our summer has been okay except that it's been sweltering hot here lately and the electric bill has been through the roof. My hubby finally put a screen door on the door that leads from the house to the garage. It makes excellent cross ventilation!!! We had to put up a retractable screen door because of the way the door works... a reg screen wouldn't fit. Took him 2 whole days to do it because the door was not a standard door and thr trim moulding had to be removed, blah blah blah. He finally got it done, we showed it to the dog so she wouldn't make a b-line trying to get outside and take the door down. Next day, she took the door down. Meg and I scrambled to take it apart, put it back up before hubby got home. Meg and Evan then took colored threads and weaved them through the door so that wouldn't happen again. LOL Really, it is sooo good to hear from you! Please stay in touch! |

After we were awarded custody of our 2 grandchildren, we decided that apartment living was not going to work. So, we got busy and found a house and move in 2 weeks. We are all excited!! Yep, Delta's pilots are in a pickle. The guy I work for is a Delta pilot. Yeah, the pension thing sucks - but he still has a job (his words not mine). There are lots and lots of people who have worked many, many years and have nothing now - not even a job. Even my husband was affected by the cut back, etc., but we still have alot to be thankful for. |

My son's involvement in marching band seems to have swallowed my life lately. I spent Labor Day weekend at the sewing machine instead of the computer. lol Joy - I don't envy you to the moving either! Lots of changes in your life, all for the good, I hope. Really, where did that Summer fly this year? Wow, Deb - you are going to be one busy grandma, but God bless you for what you are doing for your family. Barb - I just turned a girlfriend on to NGF after she removed her acrylics. She's as thrilled after only a couple weeks as I knew she would be! Moi - don't envy you that heat either as the hot flashes came crashing down on me overnight a couple months ago. You don't want to hear what MY utility bills were for Summer because of that. lol Good to see you! |
