 Subject: You're Right Those Women Are Vicious!Message: I posted on the Home Accents & Furnishings board (something I've NEVER done) and responded to the thread "Sleep Number Bed." My gosh, did I get slammed but this lady sounded like she was a few cards shy of a full deck. I'm not going back and responding to this person and giving her ANY power. I guess you're bound to run into these people everywhere. |

But I just figured I was a bit slanted because of this heat and humidity....Guess the warming *IS* global! Hol, just don't take it personally. They are a bit edgy over there from time to time. But I must say I got quite the lovely crowd from there. The ones that are true QVC'ers don't post over here though! (can't imagine why not????!@#$%^&*) And Cheryl, I am hard pressed to purchase a bed even after testing it in the showrooms.... They are one item that is really difficult to get right! I don't go back and respond to these threads but I'll tell you one thing. If this is what it means to be handicapped (that you're rude to the "T") I don't want anything to do with it. She also brought up the fibromyalagia thing. I know many women who have fibro and they no where act as rude as this "slim" did. I wonder what her problem was????????????? |

Message: I post mostly on the Fibro chicks post on the Health BB, and the ladies on there are so nice, and we all have the same things. In fact, things I didn't relate to Fibro have been discussed and I can now link them to this disease. Some ladies have come on to try to tell us that they cured themselves, and if we would just get up off our butts, and move around we would be much better, and we shouldn't baby ourselves. Needless to say, those people didn't post more than one or two times and then they go away. We all support one another and there is a great deal of compassion and caring. It's like it is over here, only with aches and pains. LOL!!! I sometimes post on a topic like "Who's your FAvorite Rock Star" or As the World Turns, or a recipe, but I don't go off into the areas where people are really having exhuberant discussions, that turn ugly so very quickly. I used words like "please" but that didn't compute with that poster and all she did was continue to "slam" the bed. I realize that bed isn't for everybody but this poster seemed to take it to extremes. It's just like those posts bashing Patti Reilly. Why do they do that? A poster stated an example and I had TIVOed that particular show so I reviewed it myself and I don't know if that lady got her confused with someone else or what. Maybe those people are outta touch with reality too. Could be they want to be "one of the girls" and agree with everything? You're so right, Barbara, it's a no-win situation. No more will I respond to a post that MIGHT be controversial. My gosh, I didn't think a bed would throw someone over the top! |
