Subject: Nail Polish
Message: Hello everyone! I have a question for you. I have been using NGF I think for about 3 to 4 months now but I still don't see much improvement in my nails. I do notice that they seem to grow out quicker but I'm still having trouble with them peeling layers. About a month after using it though I started wearing nail polish. Can this interfere with the NGF? I read that nail polish can dry out your nails pretty bad and I wonder if this is my problem. I've always wore nail polish. Does anyone have any suggestions? I cut all my nails off and am starting all over with no polish until I see if its helping or not. It's very hard for me not to polish. I've always been told that the polish helps make them stronger but like I said I have a terrible time with them peeling layers. If anyone has any advice please let me know. Thank you...thank you...thank you...! :)

Message: Hi there!
As with many products, individual results will vary. Some of the ladies here noticed that their nails stopped splitting and peeling right away. Others have found it takes much longer. For me it took several months. I think it really depends on the condition of your nails when you start using NGF.
I know that didn't give you an exact answer, but I hope it helps!

Message: I have the same sort of nail issues as you and do exactly what you are doing now. If the peeling starts from using polish and remover, I trim them back and use just NGF a good couple weeks. In between polishing, I rehydrate with NGF 3 or 4 days before a new manicure.
