 Subject: Paging Deb about Dooney&BourkeMessage: Hey Deb I got my first Dooney&Bourke which was the hot pick A00165 D&B Donegal Crest Satchel in the brown and I love it! But I am wondering if the one that you have is heavy? To me it seems heavy but I am thinking maybe it is just me or it will take time to get use to it. I also got the D&B Signature Fabric Pocket Tote in the navy and love it too...but it does not seem as heavy as the Donegal Crest Satchel. I really want to keep this and just love it but am hoping that I will get use to the weight of it....any advice that you can give I would appreciate. Thanks. Lori |

I have it is 5 of the 6 colors offered and am currently carrying the Teal color. It did take some getting used to and because of it's size I have to watch myself or I have it loaded down so bad that I need a forklift to pick it up. I don't think that it is as heavy though as the all-weather leather ones. I have a small AWL and I don't carry it for that reason. Give it a little time, break it in a little and see what you think. It is absolutely my all time favorite D&B. |

I have been carrying small bags like The Sak line and Maxx of New York so I just may have to get use to it...but I really love this bag and plus I have never owned a bag to where I can carry it by strap or the handles. I am going to take your advice and have a break in period but I will say that I am finding myself addicited the D&B line. I live in a very small town and have been shocked by that everywhere I go I have ladies telling me that they love my D&B...I did not know how big of a following that Dooney&Bourke have! I guess I sound silly but I have never owned a designer handbag before but now I see why the ladies on the Q boards love this line. Have a good day! Lori |

It took me a long time to get the teal - I think my first one was the brown, which is a total classic. It's a good winter or summer bag. And, although I love the teal - it's been great to coordinate with all the turquoise that is so popular this year - I love, love, love it in the red. It is beautiful in the fall and winter - and they say that red is the new black this year!!! |

I saw only a couple of bags on QVC with the crest and I wish they had more because I really like it. You are right about the prices though because I have priced the D&B at the mall and they are expensive and such little bags...QVC has great prices and I love the easy pay. |
