Hello I'm 18 years old and my finger nail and toe nails are starting to fall off. They were first changing color under the nail to like a grayesh color and this has been happening for about a year and the skin has slowly been letting go of the nail so I've had to cut it shorter and shorter and now it look like they are going to start falling off. I'm so stressed out. Please help me.

see a dermatologist or at last your own doctor NOW. Sounds like you have fungus or a dietary prob, and it needs to be addressed so it does not give you a permanently damaged nail...you are young ...get this taken care of!

Hello. Recently I accidently hurt my finger, and the nail became very loose. The nail would move up and down so I pulled it off with very little effort. Now the finger looks really strange without a nail...and I'm wondering if there is anything I can do to help it grow back. How long will this take??

Normally it takes 6-8 weeks for the nail to grow from the nailbed to the tip of your finger.

I have excema that seems to act up when under lots of stress. I got it really bad on one of my fingers which seems to have damaged the nail itself and is slowly starting to become brittly and falling off peice by peice. I am wondering if it will grow back and if so how long will it take?
