Subject: Just reordered
Message: Hi: I haven't checked in for awhile. I just reordered and wanted to say HI to everyone. I continue to use NGF every day and wasn't paying attention and oops - need more. My nails seem to be stronger. Best wishes, Sandy

Message: Well you should receive your package, probably on Tuesday. I am sending it out priority so you should not be without for long. Thanks for letting me know that you're receiving benefits from the product. How are your cuticles. And do you have any layering and flaking?

Message: I'm just at that reordering point too. Maybe another month. As for the cuticles they aren't 100% but they sure are close. I hate to admit it but I do continue to bite them. Not really bad but more than I'd like to. I guess it's just like biting your nails. I'm just into cuticles though. I know, BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Eventually I'll catch on.

Message: Hi: I'm new here and am just getting to the point where I might need to reorder - it's been upwards of 30 days - I've actually lost count. My cuticles seem better and I'm not sure about my horrible ridges and peeling nails. I've done as suggested and kept them "nekked" since I received the NGF.
Here's my question - does the NGF still benefit your nails even after your hands are in water? With my schedule, sometimes in the morning, I have my hands in water after I do my treatment. It's also VERY dry here right now, so I kind of expect dry nails and cuticles. I do think this helps though.

Message: That's a good question, Robin, about the hands in water thingy. Maybe Barbara will chime in and help us or at least somebody will. I put the NGF on AFTER my shower in the morning but maybe I'm doing something wrong.

Message: Short answer is yes.... Lanolin is a natural moisture barrier. It will help the nails retain the moisture for a healthy balance, and it will prevent excessive moisture penetration which will weaken the structure.
Sorry I have been very absent lately. Running to doctors to find Neurologists and Orthopedic Surgeons for my youngest son. I WILL TRY to step in here more often. Sorry for the neglect....
Off for now to do the necessary things for today.

Message: Hey there Barb!
I'll send up prayers your way for you, your son and your family that you'll find talented doctors/surgeons whose hands and minds will be guided by our Heavenly Father that they will work to the best of their ability - hey, a little help from on high can't hurt, can it??? ;)
Regarding NGF and water - as I posted somewhere else - since swimming everyday, the chemicals in the water were doing a number on my cuticles so I rub some in before I swim and after. The normal daily shower or hand washing doesn't cause a problem, it's only when I swim. I suppose it's the chlorinated water and all.

Message: Moi,
Your thoughts and prayers are more than welcome. Your absolutely right....More of this is better.
About the chlorine. That granulated chlorine WILL do a number on your nails, skin, hair all of it!
It is after all bleach in its most concentrated form! We used to throw it around on the concrete decking surrounding our pool and even used it to bleach up the drive way....So it will play terrible *games* with human tissue, etc.... Make certain that when you come in and bathe off, apply a bit of baby oil "AAAAAALLLLLLL over your body"! That will really help the condition of your skin after all the chlorine. And use a really good hair conditioner, preferably a leave in... If you ladies have other suggestions, they are more than necessary here.....

Message: A hair salon gal told me that if you wet your hair thoroughly before going into the pool, the chlorine will not damage it. I've heard this for years and then hearing it from a hair 'tech' makes me think it must be true!

Message: If you have used this hair "tech" for years and know her well then I might be inclined to listen a bit to things she may offer. But don't forget all those things a "nail tech" told you too! lol
I just believe that the extra bit of deep conditionaing will not hurt the hair cuticle. But I am NOT educated in these matters so I have nothing definitive to offer. Just my own experiences with using our pool in Atlanta since 1978....
