Subject: Skincare
Message: Since we are talking about skincare I was wondering what people here are using and why it is something you can't do without. With this heat/humidity that has overcome the east coast my skincare routine has been toned down quite a bit. I'll resume alot in the fall/winter months. I do though use a bit of these. Elysee, Perscriptives, Dr. D and Rodan and Fields lines (Proactive and Reverse line). Sometimes a bit of hefty shea butter when my face is really screaming for moisture. Anybody familiar with the aspirin mask? I would put that mask up against ANYTHING!

Message: OoO.......My favorite is by far Oil of Olay! I love the way it is just so readily absorbed and doesn't leave any filmy residue. I used to use Jergens, but it is a bit *slimy* in this heat/humidity....So OoO all the way for me.

Message: i'm using Paula's Choice right now. simple products, no fragrance, no additives. i used pro activ for years until it just didn't seem like it was taking care of the oil and making my skin feel thinner for some reason. i have never used a moisturizer of any sort. i can send some oil your way though!!

Message: I'm with Barb - OoO all the way. It's not oily, sticky or smelly and it works really well. I found that when I added Alpha Hydroxy to my skin care regime, the OoO worked even better. You can get very similar results to the AH by exfoliating with a mix of sugar and water, and some people have said salt and water works. To me that salt and water would be toooo dehydrating to the skin.
