Subject: Avon Instant Manicure
Message: Has anyone tried this yet? It's sheets of enamel that go on dry. A friend of mine who sells Avon says that one of her clients peels it off. It doesn't say that on their website though -
This is from their website for anyone who doesn't know about it -
"Peel. Press. Perfect.
In an instant, experience a revolution at your fingertips - nail color that goes on dry. No streaks. No waiting. Strips of real nail enamel, combined with base & top coat that go on dry. The set includes 16 dry nail strips, good for one manicure. Can be applied on acrylic nails - and, its waterproof. Remove as usual with nail enamel remover. Instant Manicure gives you 14 days of shiny color and a perfect finish every time!
Applies in minutes; removes in a snap with nail enamel remover.
More chip-resistant than liquid nail enamel.
Color that lasts up to 14 days. "

Message: I tried that product at a flea market close to where I live. A lady there sold them and she said that they were staying on good for her. She demonstrated a few of them on me, but they didn't last very long on me. After they were applied, they already looked chipped, but after a few minutes, they peeled off completely! They also took a layer of my natural nail with them. I'm glad I didn't waste my money on them.

Message: moi,i knit with a lady who is an avon lady, she never polishes her nails, one sat. we were knitting and i notice her nails were polished, they looked really nice, she told me about this new product. she had samples for all of us to try, i found 2 draw backs, 1-you file off the access over the free edge, which i would think isn't to good for the nails 2-they were like wallpapering your nails lots of air bubbles,i think it would take lots of practice, then you use remover to get it off.i'm going to pass on this product.....

Message: Thank you for your posts, ladies. I wonder how it works for fitting around the bed of the nail, not just over the tips. Everyones nail beds are different, so do you push it in alongside the cuticle and trim it off somehow? :::shrugging::: I dunno! Thanks again!!!
