Subject: A Fun Nail Color Idea
Message: Hi all! Haven't been here in a while but I'm still a faithful NGF user! I'm loving that the warmer weather promotes faster growth as well. I wanted to pass on a fun idea that someone posted on the QVC boards. The poster there swears that using Bare Minerals under a clear coat of polish has helped her nails. I'm not sure about that, but the look is nice! You mix a bit of one of your BE colors with water. It could be a blush, highlighter or eyeshadow. Make the consistency thick enough so it doesn't run, but thin enough to "foil" or spread with a small brush. It dries quickly leaving a subtle color or sheen on your nails. Top with a colorless polish. If you don't like the color you chose, before you seal it with polish, it washes right off. One of Honeybee's would work for topcoat, I think. It is so quick, easy and sheer. Plus, it just might be a healthy alternative. I liked this tip because I had all the products on hand! I used a pink blush color - Glee. Next time I will try a highlighter color. Have fun!

Message: WOW. I never even thought of that. Interesting. Thanks for sharing. I pitched most of my Bare Escentuals eyeshadows, etc. out a while ago because I'm a wham, bam, thank you maam kind of girl when it comes to getting out of the bathroom but I do have a FEW things like their "crushed velvet" blush. That was in a TSV kit quite a while ago and I love it. Even though the foundation is messy I still use it because I've never found anything like it.

Message: Hol - that blush should work fine. I used Glee blush and have a subtle pink glow.
