It has been busy at our home...my son-in-law (Rylee's dad)has Parkinson's and just had DBS surgery...then a week later had the surgery to insert the battery pack in his chest and connect the rods in the brain to the battery. Going without nailpolish since starting this formula hasn't really proven hard. My nails would have NEVER survived but now they are quite hard and I've only lost 2 nails. One I know why and the other I don't have the slightest idea. My biggest problem was my cuticles thanks to ProStrong. Or should I say NO THANKS anymore. This board seems VERY, VERY helpful with all the knowledge the ladies here have seemed to acquire throughout the years. I guess that makes us an expert. I guess there are trolls on everyboard. That just a forgone conclusion. Jessica, welcome and I'm definitely sure you and your mom won't be disappointed with the NGF. I'm fortunate I didn't get sucked into that acrylic thing. Only for a few years so no damage was done. |

Cher, Well hello and welcome! Isn't it amazing how after only a couple weeks you've seen such a wonderful improvement in your nails? I noticed it after just a day of use - my nails and cuticles almost instantly became more hydrated and took on a nice, healthy 'pink'. I love it! Sue!!! How are you doing?? I'm so sorry to hear about your son in law :( I was watching a special on Michael J. Fox the other day and he was talking about the medical studies, some of the breakthroughs and the such. Please let us know how the surgery works out - it sounds fascinating albeit scary! I hope they find a real cure soon!! Hol, Nice to meet you, Hol! I did the ProStrong thing too and my cuticles were soooooo dry and they tore and bled all the time :( I had tried it when it was the TSV over a year ago - it had the biofusion thingy - what a waste! :( But isn't it nice to have found NGF??? It's not just the product itself, but the amazingly loving and caring ladies on this site that have been such a blessing to me! Barb!!! Maybe for Halloween we could dress up as trolls and visit the Q? ;) Nawwww - this site is so much better and so much more peaceful and we have YOU to thank for that. You're such an angel, allowing us to come here and use your forum to discuss everything and all things! I have been soooo busy with the kids trying to make sure that I have everything wrapped up by the end of the official school year. Even being homeschooled, they like having the same holidays and vacation time as the public school kids. I will be lightening up a bit over the summer, but math and reading will continue to be part of our lesson plan. I am really excited because we were recently invited to join a homeschool group for their social activities every week. They have a young lady who is only a few weeks younger than Megan and believe it or not, they are both bookworms and have even read many of the same books. They have much in common. Evan has found a new bunch of friends in this group and that is such a blessing to me because I've been really worried about him not having enough friends his age. I was such the proud parent when the other parents told me how impressed they are with how 'together' my kids are ::: beaming ::: Well, that's about it for now. Please keep us posted on how things are going? Or have you been and I have been away too long to see it? I love all you ladies and though you might get tired of hearing it, I'll never tire of saying it - you're all my 'everyday angels'! |

I think my mom especially should try it because her fingernails break all the time, while mine also break easily and peel off in layers. We have tried basically all of the strengthener polishes to no avail. All they did for me was make my problems worse. |
