Subject: Hello Ladies
Message: Hi Ladies, I posted this yesterday, but i don't see it, so something must have happened. I don't recognize many of the names, so I have been away for a really long time.
I hope you are all well, and that your nails are growing the way mine are. A special Hi to Moi, Barbara, Sheltie, Denise and Lory, and I have missed posting with all. I am feeling better, so maybe I can start posting again. I have miss you ladies, and it has been a really long winter for me.
Take care, and I will "talk" with you soon!

Message: Hello everyone! I am feeling better and it's so good to be able to talk with you all again. I have thought about you all so much through the winter, and I was so tired, and out in my fibrofog, but I'm a bit more alert these days. It rained today, but the sun has been out for the last few days, my magnolia was in full bloom, it's on the down side now, though, the tulips are up and in bloom, and so are the hyacinths. I have so many buds on my wisteria, I can't wait for them to bloom.
I think of you all so often, and I do keep you in my prayers. I haven't forgotten you, but "life DOES seem to get in the way" and the day is over before you know it.
My best to all of you, and I hope you stay well and happy, and we all have nice long nails. I will be back soon, to chat with you all again.

And thankfully so! I am glad to see you back too Karen. I too have been a bit on the absent lately. Needing to take a stress break, for the ole tickers sake. I go to my heart dude on the 17th. We shall see how good, bad or indifferent things have gotten! What will be will be!
I am trying to get in here a bit more and not get too stressed, so please forgive my absences. I will try harder.
This winter was brutal in more than one way, wasn't it?

Message: Barbara, please take care of yourself and let us know how the appt goes. It's NO fun after 40, huh? As the Quacker lady said I have a child playing with matches inside of me. Sure hope this summer isn't as bad as last but I'm on Extra Strength Estroven now. Occasionally I have these "warm waves" but I'm managing. And to think guys get away with ditly squat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like that one! warm waves indeed! INFERNO! is most accurate for me. With the heart problems I can't take a lot of the hormones offered. So crank up the heat! At least during the summer, no one really notices the beads of sweat on my forehead as readily! (Nice cover!)
My inner child can only think of jumping into the first wave that rolls in on the coast! Playing with matches will get you SPANKED around here, and the child enforcement agencies can just get a grip! lol!

Message: Hi Ladies, it's me again!!! I have to laugh at what Jean Bice said about the kid playing with matches. During menopause I had 5 hot flashes. However,(maybe the fibromyalgia ladies will relate to this), I have these "sweating attacks" that last from 4 to 6 hours straight! That's how I know I only had 5 hot flashes. The sweating attacks are so bad, they make my clothes so soaking wet, and my hair is soaking, and because I have been sweating for so many hours, my electrolytes go haywire, and I feel so exhausted. They don't know what causes it, my holistic doctor thinks it's something thermogenic with my thyroid, which is underactive, by the way!!! I asked my gynocologist about it, when I was there for an exam one time, and I disintegrated the paper on the exam table, and she said that was not like any "hot flash" she ever saw!
So there is a girl scout troup playing with matches inside of me, and they are trying to reinvent fire!!! I certainly can relate to the "personal summers" we do suffer with menopause, but mine are bordering on global warming, and I know that global warming is going on inside of me and certainly not in the northeast, where I live! LOL!!!!
Barb, I hope you get good results from the cardiologist, and remember we love you, and we don't want you to get stressed with what happens here on the boards. This is so much calmer than QBBs, and those ladies (I use the term loosely), are ruthless!!! I'll keep you in my prayers, Barb, and all of the other ladies too!!
