| cheryl IP: 206.159.161.156 4/27/2006 13:07:41 | RE: Beauty Box Message: Christi, it's a box of beauty products, quite a few of us have accumulated, that we started a few months ago. most of us are east of the Ms. river we have one in Colorado and one in CA. we take out what we would like to try and replace with 1 or 2 of our own. it can be samples we have received, or even barettes or unused hairbrushes. there is always a wide variety of stuff to look at. the box started to become heavy and expensive so we have tried to limit our added products to 1 or 2. we also added the "rule", that if the things you added are in it when it comes back around to you, then please take them out. USPS seems to give the best shipping rates, anywhere from $10 to $15 dollars. the farther west you live, the more expensive it becomes, it seems. let us know if you would like to be included. |

Also, I notice that you seem to chime in on just about every post, which is awesome, but I'm just curious where you have gotten all you knowledge, you seem to know a lot about the NGF product as well as other products and I didn't know if you were associated with NGF or you were a manicurist at one time or what. I always love knowing more about the people that seem to give such good advice. Thanks again! |
| cheryl IP: 206.159.161.156 4/27/2006 16:13:40 | RE: Beauty Box Message: christi, no, i'm not associated with NGF in any way except as a consumer of the product and a friend of barbara's. i live in western NY, but am a transplant, up here, from Mississippi. barbara's my "southern sister"! she a good, sweet, common sense girl from the south and i just kind of fell into this site quite a few years ago after using the product and having remarkable results in my own bitten, acrylic ravaged nails. i am 43 and bit my nails for 35+ years and thought fake nails were my only option, until i started having fungal, bacterial, and allergic reactions to them AND i couldn't find a nail tech who wasn't just outright lying to me. i don't have children and my husband travels a lot, so i have a lot of time for research. i am an internet junkie! this is really the only forum i jump in on, only because i went through such trials and tribulations with my own nails. i really do believe in this product and enjoy watching this forum do good for ladies with horrible nails and people in anguish over them. barbara's a busy lady running a company with her husband and i just try to take some slack by answering what i know or what i can go find out for all of us. really, no hidden agenda here. just, what i hope, is helpful, real life advice. |
