 Subject: nails bitten so MUCH!!!Message: Help me, i have been biting my nails for a long time ,and i have recently stopped. My nails have been bitten so much that when they grow back to original length there is a lot of nail tips. They are ugly!!!. You know the white bit at the end of you nails, that you cut off with nail clippers, i have so much white bit it is disgusting. There is hardly and pink bit. Please someone help me i cantshow my nails in public i am so embarresed, please give me a solution so i can get the pink part of my nail back without surgery! |

Eventhough you don't bit anymore, another thing you might watch is how you are cleaning your nails. Don't dig underneath with a file or you'll continue to pry them up just as with nibbling. Use a soft toothbrush instead. I'm not fond of any sort of remedy that involves patience either! Good luck! |

Message: the first two weeks is the worst. if you can get past that, i always found it was so much easier. i guess it's not too different from quitting most habits. you've just got to get up and make yourself do different activities when you start gnawing. i always did it in the same place and the same time it seems. |
