 Subject: My nails turn clear when wet! Message: When my nails are soaked for awhile-- when I shower, do dishes, swim, etc-- the tips turn from white to clear. Then they gradually turn back white again usually starting in the middle. Is there any way to prevent them from turning clear when my hands are wet, or to make them change back white faster? |

You should wear gloves when doing dishes. Also use cuticle oil on your nails daily. Creative makes this oil that is great. Its called solar oil. I love the way it makes my nails feel. |

I just use that as an opportunity to apply lotion or NGF to seal in that moisture. I do the same thing with my face - mist on mineral water and seal it in with moisturizer. Hydration is a GOOD thing. |
