 Subject: Fix for Nail Split

I have had a line from my cuticle to the edge of my nail for over a year, with a "V" always on the edge of the nail. I took some nail glue (I think it is the same thing as regular instant glue) and glued a small piece of clear plastic under the nail to fill in the "v", then filed it smooth. I had to re-apply the glue every 2 days or so. After about 10 days, I let the plastic piece come off, as the glue had filled in the "v". Meanwhile one part of the nail on one side of the "v" had flaked. I just kept using the glue to keepo the flake in place also. Finally after about 18 days or so I let the flake come off and the split was gone! I went unpolished for about a week. Now I have put Hard as Nails on and the nail is continuing to grow out with no split. The line is still there, but the "v" is gone.
