Subject: Lessman Hair, Skin & Nails
Message: Morning, dear friends!
I know this has been talked about before, but I need to ask everyone using this... do you really notice a difference in your hair? My hair, over the past couple years, has started coming out in the brush more in the winter time than it ever has, and it just doesn't have the same nice body and shine it used to. Is that something Lessmans product will help with? What about skin and nails, do you notice a difference, and if so, what do you see?

Message: It's amazing how no one tells us about things like "old lady" hair. When it just gets tired, thin, and unruly. When it loses its luster and just hangs there, which is better than that "I'm going in this direction" hair!
No one ever tells us that all that washing, is cleansing the natural oils and nutrients from the hair, much the same way the hand washing destroys the nails when done to excess.
There are lots and lots of little *tid bits* that no one mentions about the aging process. Want more? I got a million of 'um!

Message: i wash my hair every 2-3 days now. anymore and i just dry it out. i wash my bangs a lot because of my oily skin, but my hair just can't stand all that sudsing up. my hair is in better condition now then when i was in my teens and 20's. i stopped with the perms 10 years ago and just go with color and it seems to condition it really, really well. i have enough hair for 2 people though, but it is very straight and i learned to live with that. i look back at pictures of me and a tight perm and cringe now! ruth, i've never tried lessmans. what are they?

Message: I love Hair, Skin and Nail by Lessman. I started taking it 4 years ago when I decided to take my acrylics off for good. My hairdresser definately noticed a difference in my hair. I noticed that my skin "reacted" better to my beauty routine. And my nail - they grow like crazy. Now, with the help of NGF, my nail AND my cuticles look better than ever. I take several of Lessman's products but the two that I will NEVER be without are the Hair, Skin and Nails and the Bone and Body Factors!!! Awesome products.

Message: Hair, Skin and Nails is a product by Andrew Lessman (see below for information on him) and it's sold on HSN. So many of the ladies on the Q (and a few here) have raved about what it does for their hair and nails. I happened to be channel surfing Friday night and he was on presenting it and it made so much sense as to why it worked. Certain nutrients that are needed by your hair, skin and nail are also needed by your vital organs to function well. As we get older, those organs require more of the nutrients to function and our skin, nails and hair get less.
He's been selling it for years and years and it's always very popular and this weekend he's presenting it with even more of certain nutrients in it, so I going to break down and get it. I don't know if it will help with my nails, NGF has worked miracles and maybe it will give them a boost too, but I am most concerned with my hair. It's one of the few features I am proud of, but it's fading fast!!! If you're interested in reading about this specific product, it's item number 703-384 at hsn.com
Deb (or anyone), did you see his presentation this weekend? Have you tried that CoQ10 line?

Message: I switched a few years ago to Andrew Lessman's multi-vitamins (the Women's Complete, then the Ultimate Complete, I just signed up for auto ship for the new Complete he ordered last night). I can't have anything with gluten (mainly wheat) in it, and most of his vitamins do not have any additives or fillers, and I never had any problems with bad reactions to them.
I gave my mom the Hair, Skin and Nails because her hair is so thin from thyroid disease. But she has not taken it consistently enough to tell any difference. I do know that the short time I did use Hair, Skin and Nails, my hair seemed to grow faster- my hair stylist even mentioned how long my hair had gotten. The only reason I stopped is because I had to go off many supplements to reduce the risk of interactions with my medications, otherwise I'd give it a try again. Moi, my hair is in so dry and thinning these days due to medication, it's so frustrating. But Barbara, I agree with you that I, for one, and probably many of us, overwash our hair. So I've been trying to go an extra day between washings now just to see if that makes a difference.
Moi, Coenzyme Q10 is a very important supplement for heart health and a host of reasons. I don't get Andrew's Q10, although I was interested that he had added the green tea extract, I believe, or one of the antioxidants to his. I have to be careful because sometimes he adds some things that I can't be on right now. CoQ10 tends to be expensive, but you can shop around and price compare. I think Andrew's vitamins tend to be quite pure, and I'm willing to pay more for that, but he can also be very pricey compared to many of the catalogs.

Message: I watched last night, his final presentations, and most everything was selling out. I only got the Hair, Skin and Nails because I'm desperate not to become bald. That would be the final straw, I think.
What surprises me is how gullible I am. I trust everything he said and if I had the funds, would likely have ordered more things, thinking that my life depended on it!! Anyone else like this?

Message: Moi,
I don't think you're being gullible at all. I've studied nutrition, herbs, etc. on my own for over 20 years to deal with my own health problems, and I've written professionally as a healthcare writer for decades, so I think I can weed out the knowledgeable salespeople from the frauds or naieve ones. From watching Andrew over the years, he is very knowledgeable, seems current with what I'm reading in medical journals, and I've really never heard him say a false statement. My only gripe is that there are similar products in the vitamin stores and catalogs that are not as expensive and similar in ingredients and dosages. But I often choose his products for their lack of fillers and ingredients.
So while TV salespeople will often make overblown statements to make a sale, Andrew is one who I find to be on the more credible side.
If you find the Hair, Skin and Nails helps your hair, please keep us posted. My mom and I could definitely use help in that area. Also, when I was looking at similar products for my mom long ago, there were some at vitamin stores like VitaminShoppe, health food stores, etc. So you can always compare prices, ingredients and dosages of those with Andrew's to see if you can get a better deal.
Take care,
Jill

Message: I totally agree - I watched him for about 2 years before I ever ordered my first product, and it was the Healthy Hair, Skin and Nails. Now, I probably take 6-8 depending on the time of year. There are a couple that I will never, ever be without - Hair, Skin and Nails being one of the. Also, the Bone and Body Factors. I am on AutoShip for this one. It contains several formulations in one. I, too, like the fact that they are vitamins/supplements in the purest form - no binders, no colors and no fillers. I tried many over the counter ones and they made me sick. His vitamins have never made me sick to my stomach, and I take several of them first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. I know, I know - but I have never been a breakfast person.
I think you will enjoy the product, Moi - but there should be a addiction warning on the label of every bottle.
