It might be a sign of psorasis. I had it before putting on acrylics. Now I don't but now my nail is growing off the nail bed. I have psorasis so if you do you should ask your doctor.

Lourdes - you have psoriasis, your nails are lifting from the bed and you are doing your own acrylics at home? Have you ever had to remove them because of fungus?

Lourdes- I just can't believe you have a doctor that would stipulate to you having the fakes with psoriasis. But then I just can't believe anyone has a doctor that would stipulate to fakes period!
