 Subject: Hello - just checking inMessage: Hi Ladies, I just wanted to poke my head in a say hello. I just got back from Bible Study and am off to bed. I had a really tough day today. I think Spring is going to be hard - it's was my Mom's favorite time of year.....the sun shining, the flowers blooming and the birds singing. She would get ready to hand her hummingbird feeder out - she dearly loved to watch them and could do so for hours. Anyway, just wanted you all to know that I am thinking of you and am slowly but sure getting back in the groove. I've even put in a plug or two over on the Q board for the NGF!!!!! Take care - Deb |

Each holiday and change of season stings a bit, but the second year gets easier. Allow yourself the tears because the harder we grieve, the better we heal. In a couple years the reminders will still come, but you'll just smile at all the beautiful memories your Mom left you. I'm a hummingbird watcher too and always buy the plants they like for my back yard. Actually caught one drinking last year! Promise, I'll think of your Mom this Summer. |

Thanks doesn't even begin to sound like enough for all you wonderful ladies and it seem kind of lame to even say it sometimes. Tomorrow will be exactly 4 weeks since she passed away. Say a little prayer for me. I know after a while it gets easier, I take comfort in that. I also have my faith and the fact that I know she's in a better place - we just had things left that we wanted to do. You ladies are simply THE BEST!! |
