Subject: Butterflies and Beauty Box
Message: When the BB found it's way to my doorstep, my 15 year old daughter was just as excited as I was!
She helped me open the box and go through the goodies, but in doing so we lost track of who had contributed what. There were lot's of great things in there, but I wanted to mention the butterfly combs.
To whoever added those to the box, I send a big hug and a huge thank you! I love butterflies!!!
I have always loved watching them, and have added plants in my yard to attract them.
To me, they have a special meaning. They symbolize the excitement of shedding off your shell and discovering who you are meant to be. Like unwrapping a present!
It doesn't matter how many spots, how big or small, how many or how bright your colors. You've finally become who you're supposed to be and you can be proud.
Thank you so much for putting them in the box.

Message: Hi Moi,
I am a huge fan of butterflies, too. My middle name is Vanessa,
which actually means butterfly, so I occasionally splurge and get
some costume jewelry pieces of butterflies just for the meaning.
I love your interpretation of shedding our shells and revealing
our bright colors.
As a fellow Southern Californian, was your area in the pathway of
a huge and unusual migration of Monarch or some similar
variety of butterflies about three years ago? It had something to
do with unusual amounts of rain, and they veered off their path
just a bit on their way up from Mexico. Well, for more than a
day, there were countless numbers of them everywhere in my
community and beyond, filling the sky, landing everywhere in
the yard, as you drove, etc. The UPS guy was getting swarmed by
them because the UPS trucks are open in the cabin and they
were coming in by the hundreds. And of course the poor UPS
guy had to stop at my house with a QVC package!

Message: I wish I could have seen all of those butterflies. Living in south Georgia, we certainly have our fair share of them here every spring, and I just adore that part of spring.
About the Beauty Box! I don't think I am going to participate in that again. I just don't purchase enough beauty products to put something back if and when I take something out! Not to mention the fact that the items I purchase are things that are readily available at just about any Wal-Mart, Eckerds, or CVS in the country! lol
So I feel like I will be cheating to keep some expensive item and not resupply the box with something of at least equal value....
I hope this does not offend anyone, I just don't think I can help "further" someone elses experience with anything I may place in the box. But I must admit it was fun!

Sadly, I am not going to participate in the Beauty Box next go round. Rylee and I had so much fun looking through the box and I thank you so much for allowing me to participate. Hopefully my “added” items were worthy of my beauty “finds”
Thanks to all of you!!! Sue

Message: Just letting you all know that The Beauty Anvil arrived here Friday! I've been having a ball pillaging this batch, quite a few things I am curious to try and actually a couple things I was going to buy! It'll be on the road again mid week, probably UPS.

Message: Update - the Anvil is on the road again and headed for Cheryl. Judging by the last time, you'll probably have it tomorrow or Friday. For any of you near a One Stop Shipping place, UPS is the way to go. $10.85 is way easier to take than $30 through the USPS. I had tons of fun with this one!

Message: lynn,
i'm on the look-out! i also sent mine UPS, the first go around, and it was only $11.00. USPS can be a big rip sometimes, i've discovered.

Message: A couple weeks ago, I sent a small package to cheryl and it cost $10 UPS. It must have something to do with the distance.

Message: Moi, Use US Postal Service (USPS) Priority. NOT UPS.. It makes a tremendous difference. But it gets really expensive when you're on a tight budget regardless of the method to this madness! lol

Message: But it WAS USPS that cost $30 to send back the BB to Lynn. And it was 10 ups because it went to a home, not a business and it was so far away. Oh, and there was a $1 charge for taping a spot I missed.
