Subject: Hello....and can you help me????
Message: Hi Ladies,
Sorry I have not called in for a while, you know what its like when school goes back, then we get back on the treadmill of - homework...dance lessons... soccer training...not to mention just the normal day to day, sometimes sitting at the computer just does not happen. I also work on call so not always sure when I am going in...any of this sound familiar to you!!!!!
My nails are looking much much better... and some have passed the halfway mark with the ridge, it is now towards the top of my nail....which is great, but what I need help with is my cuticles have just over the last couple of days gotten really sore and peeling just on a few fingers, what am I doing wrong am I massaging for too long or too hard???? I have not buffed my nails yet should I start??? Your help would be greatly appreciated as I feel that I have come so far since having the acrylics removed at christmas...why is this happening?????
Hope you are all well and have a great week.

Message: howdy kerrie,
don't know where you live, but, if it's cold that might have something to do with it and what type of heat you have. winter is rough on our hands anyway without trying to recover from acrylic abuse. i have found pure shea butter at night, lathered on, helps along with regular use of my paraffin melter. have you had any antihistamines lately? i know it sounds strange, but a side effect of them is peeling skin around the cuticles and ends of fingers. i would have to believe it's alright for you to start buffing now. i would leave the sore ones alone though. you're not doing anything wrong with the length of time or how much pressure when massaging the NGF in. one minute per nail. just concentrate on the base, like i'm certain you've been doing. twice a day is key right now, and i'm sure it's not easy to find that time. are you are nurse or doctor by chance?

Message: Kerrie, if you are using anti-bacterial soaps (hands and household) get rid of them! Try to wear gloves when you are doing dishes or scrubbing around the house. When I get a sore cuticle I try to keep a little dab of polysporin ointment on it, in addition to the NGF. With this wintry weather here I'm using my NGF 3 or 4 times a day, it is that dry. =^ )

Message: Kerrie,
Great to hear from you again. Keep up the Nail Growth Formula, and you might use a drop of vitamin e oil, which is probably very accessable. You may have a bottle on hand, or even with those little soft gel tabs. Just prick a hole in the gel tab and put a drop in the nails and rub it into the cuticles. It is not expensive and you can get it at your local grocers in the vitamin isle.
With as cold and dry as it is in so many areas this year, Cheryl and Lark have stated the case fairly well.
You're NOT doing anything wrong, there are just many, many variables. But the ingredients in the NGF will help with preventing any bacterial growth. It will continue to help keep them protected so don't quit with the formula or they WILL be in trouble.

Message: Keep up the good work, Kerrie and those cuticles will respond. I am speaking from total experience - I had the worlds ugliest cuticles. I would pick and pick until they would bleed, and then wonder why my cuticles looked so bad. I have had a stressful, life changing past few weeks and I am hear to report that my nail and cuticles have survived, even if I don't feel like I have. So, don't give up - and even when you don't feel like it - rub, rub, rub. Good Luck.
