Subject: Hand Lotion wanted
Message: Barbara my nails and cuticles are looking fab and it's only been a couple of weeks since I've been using the NGF. Now for the rest of my hands, they aren't looking so hot. Could you please make a hand lotion to complement your nail products? I'd love a lotion or cream made without silicones, because they take off your polish.
please, pretty please. LOL

Message: Kimberly,
That has in fact been discussed. It is, at least for the moment, on a back burner. We, my hubby and I, are going to try to formulate something that will benefit. The problems we are having right now are time constraints and money for R&D. And the fact that the basic formula we are using right now is quite difficult to rub into the skin. It takes quite the effort to make the thick lanolin absorbed completely. So during this year we will be working toward something that will work as well as what we have come up with so far but also make it more readily absorbent. No one likes the time issues involved with the NGF until they understand the bandits, so it would be a "hard sale" to get the general public to buy into time spent on a hand or body lotion that you have to *work at*! But don't despair, we will get there.. ~~~~~~~~~lol~~~~~~~~~~

Message: Until Barbara perfects the perfect hand cream - I have several that I like. Two are by Clientele - DermExtreme is my daytime handcream with an SPF. It's great. The other is Estrolift Hand and Nail Therapy. I use this one at night. During the day at work if I need a touch of something, I use Lo'Occtaine's Shea Butter.

Message: Barbara,
I'll be one of the first in line to buy your hand cream when you and DH get the bugs worked out. :)
I could imagine how difficult it would be comeing up with a formula keeping it natural & simple.
Maybe Queen Bee could give you some ideas with ingredients since she has her own products. I wish you the best getting it all worked out.
debodel,
Thanks for the recs. Where did you buy the creams?

Message: Thank you, Debodel! Now that I have settled on one very good product for my fingernails, hand lotion is next in line. I have bought MANY different brands and can't seem to come up with the same miracle as the Natural Growth Formula is! I went out searching for the ones you suggested and have purchased them. Hope to get them soon! Thanks again for taking the time to let us know. Then when Barbara comes up with her miracle formula, I will fight for first place in line!
P.S. For anyone interested, you can find the hand creams Debodel suggested on E-Bay at much reduced prices!

Message: Yep - I was gonna suggest Ebay. I saw presentations on the Clientele one's on the Q - and then searched for a cheaper price. As long as you do your homework and know the price in advance, ebay is a good way to go.

Message: Deb and Cheryl - I have used the L'Occitane Ultra Rich 25% cream. Do you ladies use that or the pure 100% shea butter?

Message: lynn,
i have always used the pure shea butter in the tin. it's thick, but it warms up quickly and feels so good on dry hands. i use it at night before i go to sleep and it sinks in quickly. it's not cheap, but it will last a long time.

Message: I use the 25% hand cream that comes in a silver tube. I love that stuff. It, too, is thick - but just seems to melt into my skin.

Message: Yep, it is an excellent, but expensive line! I wish Sephora would do another 20% off sale so I could try the 100% as well as reorder the Ultra Rich. I'm always bidding on Ebay and get beaten on this product. Even if I can save $5, I'll be happy! Love the smell of the original one - a light almond.
