Subject: More Improvement
Message: Well, I just wanted to share with you all yet another improvement in my nails. My index finger on my right hand has, for years, had a weird indentation on the cuticle area along side the nail. Imagine if you press the tip of your nail slightly into play dough. There were be a weird little indentation. I have had the same thing on my nail for as long as I can remember and the nail would always show that indentation as it grew out and would eventually tear. Well, guess what??? The indentation has finally "grown out" and my nail is normal looking again.
It has to be the NGF and the rubbing of the formula because I have had this for years and years.
Thank you, Barb... yet another improvement and with each new improvement comes new hope that eventually ALL those dumb little imperfections will be gone!

Message: Wow, Moi! Cool! I like hearing about longterm improvement like that. That's pretty amazing. I still have a tip of one finger that has a reddish band under the nail. This is one that lifted and became infected before the acrylics were removed. The nail has fused back to the bed. Now I'm hoping this band will go away. There's hope!

Message: Yep, Lynnie, it's very cool.
I remember a manicurist telling me that my nails would never reconnect to my nail bed because I had bitten them soooo short for so many years. But after several months of NGF the new length IS reconnecting!!! I was afraid I was going to have just tiny little beds and great big huge long tips. But nope! On most of my nails, it's connected right up to where they should be! So yes, there is hope for long term improvements!!!

Message: Barb - Just a few random flakes here, NO accumulation. We escaped this one where I am because I'm inland. I'm sure we will get some tail-end results, but it doesn't sound significant. It's cold, though. After having 40's and 50's, 20 feels awful. I can feel it seeping in the windows.
Moi - That is really something that yours are binding after all those years of prying them up from biting. I'll just be patient with that one leftover nail then. It's probably more noticable to me because my nails are getting LONG all of a sudden! I also tend to reinforce that edge lifing from cleaning too vigorously under my nails. I'm freaky about that. lol

Message: Hi Cheryl,
I am sorry you will be leaving this week. We are going into the 60's by Wednesdey. YEAH!
I would rather sweep sand off my porch than shovel snow from the driveway. Not nearly as *weighty* a chore.
I am glad you guys were able to breathe a bit. Be careful traveling back to the frozen tundra!
