Subject: Want to talk polish anyone?
Message: YEAAAAAAH! I have the most lovely Mocha Latte nails east of the Mississippi, south of the North Carolina! I love how suttle the shades are. I am not a bright polish kind a gal! These are perfect. Has anyone tried Melissas Lip Balm yet? It is a bit of coconut fragerance and taste. It is call Tropical so go figure. Loving that, cause color on the lips is not something I do either. My daughter got my BE lipgloss! She went gaa-gaas over it so it walked off within the 2nd week of my having it. She knew I didn't use it and so she says "Shouldn't be wasteful Mum!" And off it walked....If she touches my nail polish shes history!
Thanks Melissa. I love tham all. I will tell you how well it does for those of us who handle multiple dogs on a daily basis. We will see how many hand scrubbings it will take and I will report back...One thing that absolutely shocked me is how quickly the surface of the polish dried. It was amazing. I know it wan't cured, but it is great knowing I can polish and turn around almost immediately and pet Wu, because he will NOT take no for an answer!

Message: Barbara I am now going to have to try the lip balm..I am a lip balm junkie!
Is this polish not AMAZING...I could not get over how quick it dries and how it is such a smooth surface and stays that way and does not nick or chip.
Denise go for it...Lynnie seems to really like the french amicure.

Message: Melissa,
I was about to email you directly about the ingredients in your lip balm, but since they already became part of this topic thread, I thought I'd post here so everyone can share when you reply.
I use lip balms non-stop all day - but I must avoid any that contain wheat, oats, barley or rye. Wheat is used in many cosmetics, and I can't risk it in lipsticks or lip balms, because if I lick my lips and ingest wheat or oats, I'm in trouble.
The overall ingredients listed on your website sound OK, but some companies use natural flavorings that, believe it or not, can contain wheat!
Also, are the scents subtle or strong? Again, I'm one of those that can tolerate a few more natural fragrances, but get headaches by many scents - especially the strong perfumes.
So if you could give me a heads-up on any or all of your lip balm flavors that would be OK for me, I'd appreciate it. Right now, I'm up to my eyeballs in other brands of lipsticks, but would certainly like to try your lipsticks, too, at some point. So I'd have to check ingredients with you then, too.
Thanks!
Jill

Message: who needs nail polish when you've got oysters?!! can't believe i said that! i've really had to talk myself out of ordering the french manicure colors because i just wasn't going to be home to dig it out of the snow. once we return next week i will be doing just that. sunny and cool-probably cold for these cajuns-but i have anti-freeze in my blood now, so it's nice to me. i was tilting my head and chewing on one side, last night, while consuming my oysters. didn't think about how siily i probably looked doing it, but i don't care!!

Message: Hi Jill. We have many customers who have Celiac disease and cannot tolerate wheat products. So we've gone a lot of research over the years into ensuring that our ingredients do not contain wheat or similar products. That being said, our hair care line DOES contain wheat. But those are the only products. Some cosmetic companies use natural vitamin E which is wheat-derived. We use a synthetic vitamin E specifically for our customers who are intolerant. These individuals have told us that all of our cosmetic items, along with the lip balms, are well-tolerated. That said, everyone is different. Regarding flavors, none of them are overly strong. We have Orange Mimosa, Tropical, Strawberry Champagne and Vanilla Pie. We're thinking about adding three new flavors soon. If you have any more specific questions, please let me know.
Barbara, I'm glad you're enjoying the polish! And I'm glad it doesn't cut into Wu's petting time!!

Message: Melissa (Queen Bee),
Thank you so much for your quickly reply - and for being so knowledgeable about Celiac Disease and other forms of gluten intolerance. I'm thrilled to hear that your lip balms will be an option for me. I realize you can't predict how each individual will react to a particular fragrance, but it's going to be worth a try in my book. The flavors sound yummy!

Message: So, Barb you are loving that Mocha Latte? When is the last time you wore polish? I love how fast it dries too because I've never been good at sitting around waiting for polish to set. My pooch would have a tough time waiting like Wu too! Thanks for the tip on the lipbalms. Next order around I need to browse first.
Denise - I applied the second sheer of the French Manicure. It's like a sheer winter white and looks great on it's own, even without the tips. Actually, I like just one coat of that and one coat of sheer.
