Subject: Barbara & Queen Bee
Message: I just wanted to let you both know I'm loveing your products. :)
Barbara my nails are growing, cuticles healthy and no new splits! Love, love, love that.
Queen Bee, I orderd your Tiger Lily set from QVC. It came yesterday and I put the base coat on and mocha lotte on. I know I should give the NGF it's 30 days but I just had to try your polishes. I'd given up on polishes years ago because of the smell and the fact that they chipped within an hour for me. I also learned that lotions with Dimethicone (spelling) will strip polish wright away.
I placed an order from your site for the French manicure set, more so for the light colored shades.
I also ordered some lip color samples. My lips are very sensitive I can't wear most lipsticks on the market.
I was wondering if you could come out with some shapes of coral, salmon lip & polish colors w/golden undertones and golden shimmer. I love those colors for spring & summer.
Anyway thanks ladies for the wonderful products, glad I found you!
Kimberly

Message: Hi Kim. I'm so happy you like the products! The lipsticks are scrumptious - very moisturizing - hope you like them too. I noticed you ordered a sample of Decaf lipstick. Can I be so bold as to suggest Mocha Latte instead? Based up what you're telling me, I think you'll be happier with this color. Also, Decaf is a discontinued color - won't be around much longer. When I fill your order, I'll try to remember to send a few swatches of some other colors I think you might like.

Message: Queen Bee - I'm loving the way this Cherokee is wearing. It's making me crave a red. I also second parrotchic on the coral colors. Could you describe the Mocha Latte for me. One of the QVC hostesses, my alltime favorite Mary Beth, wears a color similar to this. (Can you tell I'm like a kid in a candy store?)

Message: Kim, thank you so much. It is always of benefit for us to hear when our product lines actually live up to their "hype". It is much appreciated.

Message: Lynnie - there's a color chart on our web site. Go to http://www.honeybeegardens.com/nailpolish-new.html and under the picture of the nail polish, click on "view color swatches". Mocha Latte is probably my favorite color. Tough to describe though! Okay, here goes....take a cup of coffee and dump a ton of cream into it. Mix that up and put a drop of red food coloring into it so it now has just the slightest pink/lavender undertone. Now, have a fairy sprite come along and tap it with her magic wand - *poof* gives it a frosty shimmer.
- - - I really need to start getting more sleep - - -
Regarding reds - that's a tough one. We don't use FD&C colors, and it's nearly impossible to get a true candyapple red using the natural pigments. That being said, we came close. Desire is our matte "red". Risque is another matte red. Desire has warmer undertones, and Risque has cooler undertones. Then there's Camelot, which is like a ruby red with a subtle shimmer. That's my favorite "red" but I've found you need to do 3 coats on that one to get the proper coverage.

Message: Melissa - thanks for the color descriptions! I'm sure I will *need* a Mocha Latte and maybe Desire red before long. Hey, I did play around with my oil and alchohol idea - for those who don't have or run out of your remover. It worked! I took a cotton pad, dabbed olive oil on it then rubbing alcohol. What it did was make the cotton glide easier while rubbing the polish off, much along the same principle as using the felt and your remover. It also left the nails with a sheen and seemed less drying.
Kimberly - I just love that color on Mary Beth, delicate but updated as well.
Barbara - It was actually Moi who discovered HoneyBee polishes (Aquarella) when we were trying to help that guitarist. Remember? When I saw "Naturella" on QVC, I just figured it had to be the same company.
