Subject: Sheesh...nasty threads....act II
Message: Well that gets my attention. They want information, and when someone can actually give them the information, they say she is a lying, cheating, no-count, gonna steal your CC information scoundrels!
And you can't go in there honestly, because you're the vendor. So I guess the only thing to do is go away. The problem is, when you have a great product, that actually works well, you really do want to shout it from the rooftops.....I would give anything if we could talk about NGF honestly and openly. Especially to rebut some of the ones that JUMPED OUR BONES with regards to us being sleazy and underhanded. You want to file a law suite when people defame you and your company with no basis in reality! That is slander! And once you have placed the seed of doubt in someones mind, and they have no real way to balance the equation, there is no way to get back their good name!

Message: The whole mind set of most of the members over there . . . . reading topics is like listening to raving drunks that would crawl over broken glass to get the next drink. The lure of the next greatest product sends them into a frenzy! No ability to say "enough!"
I've read posts from women that list off 5 different FULL lines of skincare they are using. All at once! Who has time for that? And if something on your face flares up, how the #$&^%$$ are you EVER going to determine the cause, or the fix?
It's not just the beauty topics either. Somehow QVC has created this insatiable need in people to have more and more and more of EVERYTHING that they sell; beauty, jewelry, ugly clothing, bad food, junk gadgets! It is all quite eerie.
Even more weird are the members that then start to jump on posts like this microderm or NGF and defend the Q territory as if they were the resident quard dogs of Q territory. It should be up to QVC, and only QVC, to monitor who posts what. Otherwise, buyer, and reader beware.
As far as the microderm plant/satisfied customer giving misinformation of using the cream . . . again, any one with a lick of sense would not be scrubbing away at the delicate eye area with corundum crystals!
Barbara, I sincerely hope that the undeserved slams you have taken over there have not been detrimental to your business. You and your products deserve highest praise and great success!

{{{{{{{{lol}}}}}}}}Lark that is so funny! Thanks for starting me off with a laugh here this morning.
You hit the nail(s) on the head about too many products at one time. And trying to get that point across is like pulling hens teeth! (sounds like we are Q bashing!) But the truth of the matter is that today, too many people have too much money and not nearly enough *walkin round sense*, as my Great Grand Mum used to say.
They are so subjected to the charlatans and they get so *took,* so often, then when something real comes along they don't know how to spot the difference. And I really don't understand why you NEED someone elses approval once you realize a product works for YOU!@#$%^&*
I just hope that people understand that with all this *freedom* we have, comes greater responsibility. Being responsible for our words is part of that too! And you don't get a second chance to make a good first impression on folks. Once they *damn* your name publicly, those that don't really already know either you and your integrity and your products quality, or the integrity of your business ethics, you are garbage to them. So honestly, they did not hurt the business in that they made my sales DROP! They hurt my business in that they tarnished our good name publicly, and that can never be restored. That damage IS done! I have not had any of my long time customers call or write and say they would never order again. But I have had a few say they would never believe the reviews of the posters on Q again. And though they did not come to me through Q, they did read the reviews and counted on honest evaluations and input! So I can only hope that the ones that were so nasty will have *karma* bite them! (lol) I am a firm believer in what goes round, comes round!

Message: Okay, not to prolong this negativity, but I came into this on the back side. What exactly is going on with Q? I'm reading comments that are in response to something, but can someone give me a brief summary of what happened?

Message: Hi Melissa, (what a beautiful name)
I too am actually very new to Q Beauty Boards, so my mouth is no prayer book on this topic. But from what I gather, some of the vendors for products that QVC actually sells were on the BB pretending to be just another customer. Someone else put it together, and the cat fight began. I get why they don't want proprietors on the BB, but I don't understand how they don't have a section where people can openly ask questions of vendors, both Q vendors and other product manufacturers. That would put an end to the back biting on that beauty board, because if they could openly respond to questions without hiding their identity, the cats would have no room for complaining that they were being deceitful!
They will figure out who the vendors are and smash them and their companies to pieces!!!! I KOW THIS FIRST HAND! So what ever you do, don't post to their questions there, come over here. WE WANT YOU!

Message: Thanks for the info, and kind words Barbara. I needed that today. My puppy dog passed away yesterday. Though she was nearly 16 and in failing health, my husband & I got her when we were married only two months. She's been our life ever since - we never had any children. Today is a very difficult day.

Message: Oh Melissa! I am so sorry. I know your grief. I am certain you don't know this but we breed German Shepherds. Our Sarah is in season right now and we are going to put Wu with her and hope this next litter will NOT product another 12 pups. Great blessing, huge responsibility!
What is your babies name and breed?

Message: Thank you so much for calling, Barbara. That was incredibly kind of you. I'm sorry I was a bit broken up. I miss my baby so much already. Sprockette was an exceptional dachshund - better than most people I know.
Your babies are gorgeous. What a great web site. It really says something about the kind of person you are for your breeder to have chosen you to continue the blood line. Thanks again for your thoughtful call.

Message: melissa,
i am so sorry also. we have a 12 year old black lab named dixie who is my heart and soul. we don't have children either, so she is it. i'm going to be lost without her one day, but hopefully it's a couple of years away. sixteen years is such a long time to have that kind of love and companionship. she will always be in your heart.
