 Subject: Sheesh...nasty threads..Message: I havent been on the boards very much over the last few days...What a shock to read some of the garbage on the Q board! Whats up with some of these people! Nastiness everywhere! I guess thats why I keep my posting to a minimun. |

I just check now and then, mostly to read discussions of whether certain skin care products are OK for sensitive skin, because my skin has become more sensitive than ever. And if there is a health issue I can chime in on in a helpful way, I do. But otherwise, I find some of those threads to be terribly negative or childish. I guess the lesson I've learned from it is to be very selective about what I read and respond to there. |

Message: Something I saw a while back is that there are a *few* that rule the many over there....If they were actually fair about poofing and banning, I might understand their logic, but the nastiest posters remain intact when the nice ones try to logically defend any issue. That is why you can so seldom get real, honest, factual information. Only bickering over non-issues about a product that might be the best thing on the market. So if they are looking for quality anything, the only quality they will receive there is a quality bashing. And it is terribly sad because there are some really sweet people over there. Too bad they get ambushed by a few! And all logic gets tossed out the window. |

People just popping in, pretending to be some other poster and wreaking havoc. I've been staying away from the Q boards because I just don't have the energy or the desire to sort through the muck there right now. That said, I'll probably take a peek later! LOL |

Until the all out warfare that is! Some times I just think that people have a hard time asking questions that don't sound "strange" or can't get the point across. I need a personal tutor for troll watching! But it is sometimes outrageously funny, when you have to duck from all the *stuff* they sling around over there. Oh I got the Clinique. Thanks a lot, the shade looks just about perfect. Now if I can find some time to moisturise, prime, and "PAINT". Sounds a bit like home construction, doesn't it? |

Yes, Barb, more and more it gets like home construction and Laura Geller has a couple products - Spackle and Caulk - that further drive that point home! Hey, the liquid foundation need not be an everyday look for you. There are days I don't take the time either. As for troll watching, I haven't been part of that community long enough to know just who might be behind what new troll name, but there are definitely those there who can spot them and their ulterior motives. I once was very involved in a forum where I could spot them. |
