Message: I looked up the advice Barbara gave me when I gave my one month update and this is what she said.
Those nails will recover quicker than you think if you continue as you are going, but a word of caution, don't over buff with the buffing cream because it has a mild abrasive and your nails are stressed and thin right now....Just buff in the growth formula until they can withstand the pressures of that abrasive. Go gently! The montra here is "modaration in all things!"

Message: Boy, Grace... moderation is right! I finally started using the buffer with the buffing cream. My poor nails were sooooo pathetic that I was rubbing it on with my fingers just to be safe.
Now I buff maybe 2x monthly but SO gently!
Hey... I wonder if this would be a good microderm abrasion system... LOL

Message: Dear Grace and Moi--
What wonderful support. Many thanks. I will be patient, however I am going to go ahead and order the buffing cream and buffer to be "ready" when my month is up. I'm into week two and trying to be patient. I also would love to have a total micro abrasion immersion - is that possible. At 52½ I am trying desperately to not be my mother's 52!!! God love her. I just didn't know it would be such hard work and expensive. Highlights, Pilates, strength training, anti-aging treatments, etc.
Poor Barbara -- tax time yuk!! Another reason to hate January! Well, April 15 is a long way off and as Scarlett would say "Tomorrow is another day".
