Subject: Oil of Olay Vs. Olive Oil
Message: Grace... LOL
OOO, aka OoO, aka Oil of Olay, is the product I use and love. There are some ladies on the Q boards who do use OO, aka Olive Oil, and perhaps even EVOO, aka Extra Virgin Olive Oil, on their face. To me, that's just wrong plus it makes me crave Italian food all day.

Message: Thanks Moi,
I could not figure it out. Bet our grandmas used OO. Well mine, I'm LOTS older than you. ;D
I probably have socks older than you.
I don't like using bath gels that smell fruity, I had a peach scented one once and I was dying for a peach pie! I don't like scented candles that smell like baking, don't want DH to come in and not find apple pie hot from the oven.
We have some nice sunshine here in the Midwest, but very windy.

Message: Moi,
I took a look see over at the Q board and saw a thread about OOO and it was nice to know what they were talking about. Thanks for the heads up! I use the OOO for sensitive skin.

Message: Grace, that is my preference too! My skin will let me know it in a quick, short, fast hurry if a lotion, potion is non acceptable!

Message: If you're all noticing a distinct aroma of olive oil eminating from Southern California, that's me! Yes, I do admit, I recently have had occasions to put olive oil on my face. My facial skin periodically burns terribly, either from the Lyme Disease or the antibiotics - my doctor isn't sure, but other patients have had it. And the only thing I can tolerate on it at those times is pure olive oil (and yes, I smell like a deli - but hey, I like Italian men and don't mind getting attention!) or sometimes the Clinique yellow lotion works OK.
Being the beauty junkie that I am, it's hard to resist all the Clientele, Philosophy, Reclaim, etc. at those times, but they just make the burning worse when the nerves in my skin are hypersensitive.
Hmm, I suddenly have a hankering for lasagna.
