 Subject: Guess who has a wheelchair!Message: Ladies, thank you, thank you, thank you!!! My wheelchair is PAID FOR!!! AND I have enough to have it maintained for a few months through a co-pay so that when it needs the wheels replaced due to cracking, or the seat or anything else like that, it will be taken care of. Kinda like an extended warranty! 100,000 miles or 10 years. LOL I truly cannot begin to tell you what a blessing you have all been in my life. Not just the monetary donations, but most importantly the friendship and the support. I appreciate each and every card, each and every email, each and every prayer and each and every post here in the forum. When I was feeling sooo down and discouraged you all lifted me up in ways I cannot describe. I've come to care for all of you. It has been one of those life altering experiences, to find so many wonderful people, dear friends, right here in my home everyday! So, when I say thank you, please understand I mean it. And when I say thank you, I am also asking our Father in Heaven to pour out blessings on each and every one of you. Thank you, from the very bottom of my heart. |

Hopefully your wheelchair will stay in tip-top shape. But if you find that you need some help in keeping that extended warranty going, please let us know. I know it's a beautiful, warm day (OK, nasty Santa Ana winds that wreak havoc with our allergies) here in Southern California. Message: I left here 3 hours ago with a frump in my attitude, and low and behold, Ruth appears, and like the angel she is, she brightens my day. Tears seem to be in order for more than one reason. Isn't it wonderful when your heart is so full it over flows, and those lovely, sweet tears can cleans our soles....I am blessed every day by your presence here...ALL OF YOU! I think we have all learned some valuable lessons in the last 6 months or so, about giving, and sharing, and loving. And without sounding all *preachy* and crap, love is the greatest of the gifts.... I know there are those of us who would have loved to be able to contribute more than we did, but combined we succeeded! That is what this was about in the first place... To those who complained about US, I say to you, "If you ever need our help, just let us know, we are the get it done gang!" |

It's such a gorgeous day, albeit windy, but I DO want to go out and enjoy myself. I feel like such a heavy burden has been lifted and I owe so much to you for all the encouragement you offered along the way! Denise, Denise, Denise... what can I say... you know me soooo well. I already got stopped by the police for 'wind surfing' along in my wheelchair. Hey, I wanted to take up an extreme sport, and with the wind we are having, what better way? Thanks to you too, Denise.... YOU are how I found this place. Had it not been for you posting over there, I would have NEVER met you and the rest of the amazing ladies I have met over the past few months. You totally crack me up with you posts and your emails... you are one funny lady and I am sooooo happy and sooo blessed to count you among my friends! |
