Thanks

Message: Simple answer is YES. If you use the product 2x daily the layering, flaking, peeling will cease. That is caused by dehydration. The formula will balance the moisture and protect them.
Thanks for the inquiry.
May be that some of the other girls will put in their two cents on this issue.

Message: I have another question. Is it okay to use fingernail polish while using this product? Will wearing nail polish hinder the results?
Thanks for all your help!

Message: Mandy,
I took my acrylics off in July and did not find out about this product until, I think September. I can't believe the difference it has made in my nails and cuticles. They aren't peeling or splitting. They are strong and healthy and my cuticles are in the best shape ever!! I don't mind not having polish on them because they are pink with white tips and I actually have to file them down. I like mine short for my work.
I will never be without this product. Hope this helps.
A plus to the product is the wonderful customer service and the nice people that are willing to help and share information.

Message: Hi Mandy!
I can only speak for my own nails (they cannot speak for themselves) and I have seen improvement in ALL areas! They do not peel nearly as much, ridges that looked like corrigated cardboard are finally diminishing and my nails ARE growing faster and stronger than they have in my entire life.
My cuticles are reallly nice! Even though I keep my nails filed short, (just below the end of my finger) they look so nice and manicured.
The chipping/peeling part took awhile to get better, but you have to understand that my nails were a mess!
Regarding polish - for the first 30 days, it's best not to wear polish. This allows the product to be fully absorbed and worked into the nail, which seals in good moisture and protects against bad moisture (dishwashing, toilet cleaning, etc.)
Several of the ladies here are starting to look into a line of water based polishes in hopes they won't be so detrimental to the natural nail!
I hope this helped answer your questions!

Message: I have never been a polisher, so I can't miss it. The buffer and buffing cream give a gloss that looks like clear polish, though. :)

Message: mandy,
you, and all of us, really want you to get all you can out of this product. for the first thirty days we really do recommend that you use the NGF on bare nails. there are quite a few "former nail polish junkies", here, on this forum, that never thought they could go without polish either, but now are proud to do so. we're not saying that you can never wear polish again. quite a few of us have polished our nails many times while using the NGF still. just remember that polish dries on top of your nails and the "hardness factor" comes just from the polish. you've still got the same nails underneath. just for the first 30 days your nails and cuticles need to feel the full benefits of the formula.

Message: Peeling was one of my biggest problem and then they would break off from the peeling. I started using NGF in Sept and my nails have not peeled at all since I started using this product.
For the first time ever I have long and beautiful fingernails...but Denise is right I would say that I noticed that the peeling had stopped within two weeks of applying the product. I will never use any other product than this.

Message: Hi Mandy! I'm a former peeler too. It didn't matter whether I wore polish or not. When I first got the product I had a couple nails that were peeling at the tip. I was shocked that the NGF stopped that enough that I didn't have to file off past the peeling section. Also, I've always had peeling problems right after filing, even when I've filed what I thought was a healthy nail. No more! So, I would say the elimination of that one thing for me has been the best benefit.
