Message: I wrote and asked the same question but haven't heard back from them. I'm a bass guitarist who is employing various Flamenco techniques on my 6-string and 5-string instruments (rasgueados, tremelo, alzapua, rumba rhythms, etc.) Needless to say, it means I, too, need to find a way to make my nails stronger.
Wish they'd write back. I'd buy the product if they'd walk me through how/why it could work for us.

Message: have no fear my friend!
i'm one of those guys that used to have paper thin nails BUTT!i have found 2 things that really help.
first, i found a herbal extract called FLORASIL.you should be able to find this in almost any health food store. the company that makes it is called FLORA.i started by taking 3 of these pills a day now i'm down to 1 a day.this will take time! maybe 2 or 3 months , but have faith. this one thing has been the biggest help for my playing.
the second thing is this.
go to any art supply store and buy a yard ,meter or what ever of SILK SCREEN. this should be white in colour.yes it is what people paint on.i cut a small chuck to cover about half of my nail.with your glue of choice(i use sally) put a drop of glue on the nail and then put on the silk screen.when i cut the silk screen i cut it wide to cover almost the hole nail but i leave it nice and long, so it is easy to work with.you will use lots of glue!.i have found 2 layers of silk screen to work best.use some pins from moms sewing kit to hold down the silk screen while gluing.the first time you will always make a mess, maybe glue your fingers together? just keep adding glue until every corner is glued down.if you feel it has become to thick just file it down a little, CAREFULLY!
it is very important when you do this to make sure the edge of the nail is glued down extremly well. they can pop of like a press on nail, then you got to start over.this prosess took me a good month or 2 before i got good at it.
i found that a glass nail file works the best for the shaping of the nails. it really seals the end.
so good luck with it if i'm unclear in any way shoot me a response.
ps the good news is after the FLORASIL kicked in for me i just coat my nails with glue and they are very strong. so i don't use silk screen any more.
have fun with it!

Message: super glue works well in 3 or 4 thin coats...let them dry well before adding each additional coat. "Super glue" makes a something called "future glue" which comes in a container like "white out" with a brush. If you wash dishes by hand, were gloves. The glue doesn't like lots of contact with water.
