 Subject: BBW Wax on, Wax offMessage: My daughter bought this product at Bath and Body Works. It's a parafin treatment for the hands. I have it here and I'm wondering if it is safe to use with bare nails? I have no idea how parafin works and would like to try it, but don't want to mess up the nails! |

I had healthy nails back then and the paraffin never hurt in any way. A friend's mother bought a big home kit to dip her hands into the hot wax to help alleviate the pain of rheumatoid arthritis, so perhaps it could be a nice soothing treatment and have some healthy benefits, too. You just rub it on, let it dry for 5 minutes, the rub it off. I'll give it a try tomorrow and let you all know what it does. And Denise, if my nails break off I'm comin' for you ;) |

I definately use it more in the winter than in the summer - especially when I am having a bad rheumatiod day. I have even done my feet - talk about relaxing. |
