Message: Denise! I'm so glad you like it. Eventhough I have the watered down version (Epidermx), it has the same crystals and I think that's what makes the big difference between that and other products. How many uses do you think you'll get out of the Microdermx? I'm definitely going for that one next.

Message: I cant believe the little amount I used! The instructions said to use a small egg amount on each side of your face! There is no way I could use that much! The dead skin just started falling off...yuck! I think these jars will last a VERY long time! Its a winner! It certainly makes the other peels seem weak!

Message: Denise/Lynnie - how does it compare to the Dr D Microdermabrasion, or have you tried that one?

Message: I do Have Dr D. This is way more serious than hers. I do like hers, but it is very creamy. You certainly do not get the same results. Hers I would use a few times a week in the shower and not think anything of putting makeup on over it. Hers is good to supplement this new find! Now..I really have to go to work! I will check in this evening!

Message: Denise - probably once per week on the neck is enough. This past Summer was my rude awakening. I confess to sunning a good portion of my life - not overboard, but I tan easily and I love sitting outdoors with a good magazine a half hour or so. Well, this year I noticed white rings around the neck! So, when I went for the treatment, she did my neck a couple times because it wasn't fading fast enough. What a difference. I'd have never thought to microderm there otherwise.

Message: I did a google search on this after finding it on a search engine. I just ordered a sample because I need help with brown spots. Hope it works as well as the reviews are.

Message: Jaycie - I think you'll like it. I use the cheaper version called Epidermx and buy it from an Ebay store. That is the original version of Microdermx and just a bit thinner, but still as effective, in my opinion.

Message: do these do it yourself dermabrasions work just as good as the dermatologists do? particularly for fading scars?

Message: Hi there.... I've done both - professional and used home versions. While they say there is nothing to compare with a professional microderm, we are talking $80 - $100 for a session. I honestly didn't see/feel much difference. If you need to fade a scar, probably a better approach would be to use Mederma. If that scar is particularly dark or hyperpigmented, hydroquinone (along with not exposing the scar to sun) would even be a better remedy.
