I guess everyone is a bit beat up, or should I say beat down, due to the overwhelming events of recent weeks. Now for the let down. We have to get back to the grind we call daily life.
I am excited to hear about the wheels fund though. This will all be resolved soon and Moi can finally relax in her own chair. What a blessing that will be!
Deb I am still heading to Atlanta on Thursday. Are we still on for Lenox Mall at Starbucks at 9:00am?
I will have to cut it a bit short though because I have also squeezed in an eye appointment for new glasses. (I don't have arms long enough to read with any degree of comfort any more! O-O new specs are a must.)
Cheryl, I wish you could meet us there. That would be the making of one great event!
Ok every one, whats up with you all?
Jill, I have been so worried about you and your family. How are you today?
Lori, have you been busy or are you avoiding me! (bad breath in Barbara!)
Lynnie, I know you are out there kicking I saw your post on Q this morning so tell me about your muddy issue with BE? Now that I am about to go spend my stash cash with them.

Ok Barbara..I know you did not leave me out on purpose..so I will let you know that I am doing fine! I went back to work yesterday after 3 weeks off! That was tough! My pursuit of the winning lotto ticket continues! My cat seems better..she is eating some duck and vennison..and so far no problems..thats a relief!
My nails are gorgeous! You really need to verify when I got my first jar..was it April? I just keep catching my nails from the corner of my eyes while I am walking..and cant believe their mine! Anyway...off to work I go! Good day to ev eryone!

And I was certainly NOT trying to leave anyone out. but imagine how long that post would have been had I gone all of into it!!!!!!

Hey, Barbara! Don't let what I said about BE discourage you. My skin has become very refined looking since I've been religious about microdermabrasion. It's also a little sallow and olive. So, lately I'm just having better results with liquids. I STILL think either BE or Laura Geller is the best product for someone who is freckled and still wants to maintain a natural/no makeup look! Be sure to read that post and link there on the BE Product Demonstration. It was excellent. And I'll always rely on BE for accenting. Come Summer I'm sure I'll just be using BE Warmth.
I have to tell you what I did yesterday. I had one of those prelit outdoor Christmas trees. When I took it in to store, ALOT of the lights had burnt out and some entire branches. I spent the better part of the day replacing bulbs and trying to troubleshoot. The box is now at the curb and I've decided those items only have a lifespan of 2 years! Anyhoooooo..... I was prying the bulbs out of the holders with my thumb NAILS and a knife. Not one break! Today I have a stiff neck, but still have nice nails.

Things are going well here after the holidays. I don't know if it ever slows down. We keep the pace up right on through the New Year. January is a busy month - lots of birthdays:
2nd - one of my sisters
7th - my boss
9th - my oldest daughter (was 27 yesterday)
13th - 2 nephews
14th - my Mom
27th - niece
30th - sister in law
Whew!!! I think I remembered 'em all. They will surely let me know if I forgot. As far as I know, Barbara, it's still a date!! I will be there as close to 9am as I can. I put the request on the bosses desk - he hasn't sent down a rejecting email, so that usually means it's okay. He is never in the office anyway. Did I ever send you my cell phone number?

Deb we will be there. I am just wearing jeans and a pullover or teashirt/sweatshirt (weather!) I will have Faith, our daughter, wit me. She is a little short redhead so you can spot us outside the Starbucks.
No I have not received the number yet...I am excited to come back home if only for a day!
