Message: Yes yes Barbara...I am lucky to have my kitties! But I still tell them everyday about the starving cats in India..when they are being picky and begging for a different flavor of food!

Message: i want to come back in my next life as one of my animals! i definitely got my love of them from my father. the burns also has an ocean fish and rice. the dog food varieties have more exotic meats i've noticed. guess they figure cats like chicken OR fish! i guess what i liked about them was the use of real meats and not factory sweepings! the other day i was picking up some litter at my local pet-mor store and i had a coupon attached to the pail to try some cat treats for free. a regular sized portion. i went back down the aisle, picked it up and read the ingredients. made me nauseous! first ingredient? animal digestive. lovely. no wonder they were giving it away! if we don't watch out for them who will? certainly not the pet food companies!!

Message: Denise, can you make up something on your own? I know it's more trouble but if you can check the label (if you have one) on what worked, maybe you could fix something up for her and suppliment with a kitty vitamin? I was on the verge of doing that for my dog until would found the Duck/Potato formula.
Run it all through a food processer? Maybe it sounds naive.. just a thought.

Message: Denise, I know you have tried everything , this is just a thought...kitty that I had long time ago could only tolerate baby food meat/combo. The two I have now get Iams (one gray tabby that is about 18yrs old and Bengal that is 3yrs. The "old" cat will eat anything that doesnt eat him first, but the bengal wont touch fish in any form....guess that is because her "relatives" only consume real wild meat! Hope you find an answer, it is hard when our furbabies have a problem.

Message: Hey ladies ..thanks for all your suggestions. At this time I am convinced it is the meat proteins that are bothering her. I think I just need to stick with the Duck and vennison..and stay away from chicken and beef. The fish is still in trial!
Margo..I always wanted a bengal! They are so beautiful! 5 yrs ago when I got my last kitty I opted for a pixie bob. He will only eat meat. Its wild how close they are to their ancestors!
Thanks again ladies!

Message: Denise - the Royal Canin is a VERY good line. My little dog has a finicky tummy and bladder. This is the only food she can tolerate. I hope it works for you because it's worth that trip to the vet for food if it does.
It's interesting to me you've nailed the culprit as chicken. My pooch "spits up" any sort of yellow dog biscuit, which is probably chicken flavored. So, I have to remove all the yellow ones from a box of assorted Milkbones and pass them on to my son's dog! Also, it is amazing how that stuff stains the carpet. (Notice how this happens right before you are expecting company.) I like Spot Shot, which is forumalated to zap pet stains as well. Good luck!
