Subject: Big Ol' Rings
Message: Last week at church, I was noticing one of the ladies sitting in front of me, a really sweet lady,as she was handling her baby, burping, etc... her wedding set was enormous! Her marquise cut stone was at least 3/4 inch long and it's band and the wedding band had diamonds all way around. It was kinda dirty, but I am sure it would be stunning cleaned up. I have had large rings, not diamonds of course, that snagged and got caught on everything. I don't know how she manages it with a baby and all! The one I wear is j94954 from diamonique (you can check it out at the Q with the item number if you're interested). It's very very understated but gorgeous. But truth be told, there are times I would love a nice big stone, diamonique to match what I have, to wear for dressier occasions. Does that sound vain?
And have any of you ever tried the Epiphany collection? I had a nice (cheap) ring but my hubby said he didn't like me in white gold (platinum) AND, I can't wear epiphany earrings. My ears become very infected. I wonder why it is that I can only wear yellow gold, 14K or better.
What do you all think about the whole sitchiation?

Message: Moi- My Mum developed an allergy to white gold, to the point that her partial had to be replaced. So it is not that unheard of. I think yellow gold is elegant, and white gold is a bit more of a casual look. As far as accessories go. Does that make sense?
My wedding band is yellow gold, very narrow band with 7 sweet little diamonds set on it in a bit of an S configuration. But my engagement ring is of white gold with a large 3K diamond. (gets snags all the time!) (we used to have money!~~~~LOL~~~~!) So I love the look of mixing up the yellows, whites, and even copper bracelets. (for the arthritis, you know!)
